Video
Messaging
Video batches use a structured messaging approach with an AI assistant to help generate content.
Messaging Structure

The messaging is split into the following parts:
- Big Idea: Optional overarching concept that ties everything together
- Lead: The opening hook that captures attention
- Body: The main content that delivers the value proposition
- Call to Action (CTA): The desired action you want viewers to take
AI Assistant

The AI Assistant panel on the left allows you to:
- Generate messaging based on the concept’s positioning
- Iterate and refine the messaging with conversational prompts
All changes can be reverted using the undo/redo buttons.

Tip
All three parts (Lead, Body, CTA) must be filled in before you can proceed to the Format tab.
Video Format (Storyboard)
Video batches use a storyboard-based approach to define scenes and visuals.
Getting Started
When entering the Format tab for a new batch, you’ll be presented with workflow options.
You can either:
- Create the storyboard using the creation wizard.
- Start creating scenes manually.
Creation Wizard
The wizard guides you through a 7-step process to generate your video creative:
Step 1: Select Ad Format

Choose from your existing ad formats or create a new one. Ad formats guide the AI in generating appropriate content for your video type.
- Select an existing format from the list by clicking on it
- Click Create New Format to define a custom format with a name and description
- Use the Archived toggle to view or restore previously archived formats
- Hover over formats to access edit, duplicate, or delete options
Tip
Create descriptive ad formats that clearly define the structure and purpose of your video ads. This helps the AI generate more relevant content.
Step 2: Select Duration
Use the slider to set the estimated duration of your video creative.
- Duration range: 5 seconds to 5 minutes
- Adjust in 5-second increments
- The duration guides the AI in generating an appropriately paced script
Step 3: Define Speakers
Enter the names of speakers who will appear in your video.
- Type a speaker name and press Enter or click Add
- Add multiple speakers as needed (e.g., “Brand Voice”, “Customer”, “Expert”)
- Click the X on any speaker badge to remove them
- Use the Non Narrated button if your video uses only captions without voiceover
Note
At least one speaker must be defined before proceeding. The speakers you define will be used in the generated script.
Step 4: Review Script
Review and edit the AI-generated script based on your messaging and selected ad format.
- Each script segment shows the speaker and their lines
- Click on any segment to edit the text directly
- Delete segments using the trash icon
- Use the AI Assistant panel on the left to request changes conversationally (e.g., “Make the opening more attention-grabbing”)
- Click Regenerate Script to generate a completely new script
- Use Undo/Redo to revert or restore changes
Step 5: Review Visuals
Review and edit the storyboard scenes generated from your script.
Each scene card displays:
- Scene number and duration
- Script: The spoken content for this scene
- Visuals: Description of what should appear on screen
- Speaker: Who is delivering the content
You can:
- Edit any field by clicking on it
- Delete scenes using the trash icon
- Use the AI Assistant to request storyboard changes
- Click Regenerate Storyboard for a fresh generation
- Undo/Redo to manage changes
Step 6: Create Variations
Generate multiple variations of your first scene to test different hooks or approaches.
Variation Settings:
- Script variations: Generate different opening scripts while keeping visuals similar
- Visual variations: Generate different visual approaches while keeping the script similar
- Variation Count: Choose 1-10 variations (use +/- buttons to adjust)
Working with Variations:
- The first variation is always your original first scene
- Additional variations are AI-generated alternatives
- Click on any variation card to edit it
- Use the AI Assistant to request specific changes
- Click Regenerate to create new variations
Tip
Start with 3-5 variations to test different hooks. You can always generate more or edit them later.
Step 7: Content Matching
Choose how to match content from your library to the generated scenes.
Options:
- Automatic Content Matching: The AI selects the best content from your library for each scene based on the visual descriptions. You can adjust selections later.
- Manual Content Selection: Skip auto-matching and select content for each scene manually after the wizard completes.
Click Finish to complete the wizard and create your creatives.
Working with Scenes
Once creatives are generated, you can:
- View and edit individual scenes
- Reorder scenes via drag and drop
- Add new scenes
- Match content to scenes using the Match Content action
- Copy the full script to clipboard
- Attach voiceovers to creatives
- Toggle “Show Only Script” view for focused editing
Actions Menu
The Actions dropdown provides:
- Attach Voiceovers: Upload or generate voiceovers for the creative
- Show Only Script: Toggle to show just the script text
- Copy Script: Copy the full script to clipboard
- Match Content: Auto-match content library items to scenes
